Member of the Association Nez en Herbe to promote the education of the sense of smell. Treasurer of the Association KODO – the way of incense.

Chantal CARACCI SIMON

Doctor in psycholinguistics specialised in the development of young children. In charge of researches and trainings. She considers that it is very important: that the world of research meets early childhood professionals and parents, and that there is a sharing of knowledge to better understand tomorrow’s education and therefore tomorrow’s world.

Her research themes are in the field of Neurocognition of development and language acquisition with methods using corpora, experimental protocols and brain imaging.

Sylvie CHOKRON

Neuropsychologist and Director of Research 1st class at the CNRS. Founder and director of the Institute of Neuropsychology, Neurovision and NeuroCognition (I3N) at the Rothschild Ophthalmological Foundation in Paris. Head of the Perception, Action and Cognitive Development team at the INCC (Integrative Neuroscience and Cognition Center, UMR 8002 & Université Paris Descartes, Paris). She teaches in several masters (Neurosciences, Cogmaster, Neuropsychology), she gives lectures on the brain and cognitive functioning in museums and companies, writes regular columns on the brain and neuropsychology for the Magazine de la Santé and publishes a monthly article (carte blanche) on Neurosciences in the newspaper Le Monde as well as a monthly article on ‘Neuropsychology of daily life’ in the journal Cerveau et Psycho

Roland SALESSE

Former director of the Olfaction Neurobiology Laboratory at INRA, has been involved for many years in the sensory awakening of children. He is the author of a reference book “Odorat et Goût” published in 2012 by Quae, and a “small” book for the general public “Faut-il sentir bon pour séduire?” (2019).

Lecturer in psychology and neuroscience at the University of Burgundy (Centre des Sciences du Goût et de l’Alimentation). Through the measurement of infant brain activity using electroencephalography (EEG), his work focuses on perceptual development, with an emphasis on the influence of the sense of smell on the development of other sensory systems during the first year of life.
