Indeed, while concerts are an essential way of discovering music from an early age and shaping the audience of tomorrow, the educational and transmission approach in a more direct relationship with children is also important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8a2b5effb2b1e79c75561425ac2e684e\" id=\"block-ade61ebf-5215-451b-a933-63ae4c67cf29\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">For this project, Orchestre Lamoureux will be working with the F\u00e9lix Faure day nursery in Paris (15th arrondissement). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-f2edc9ba-58b6-4242-981c-52af385101f9\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/5senses4kids.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Generique-BBC-fond-blanc-1006x1024.jpg\" alt=\"L\u2019attribut alt de cette image est vide, son nom de fichier est Generique-BBC-fond-blanc-1006x1024.jpg.\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-ada3e12d-99e1-42ed-9b47-0912cb984cf9\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading container has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-dde89fb7ece52476fc1853085352afa5\" id=\"block-0566588a-7fe1-483f-aba7-d914b9830702\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">Project objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-be4258637b63cd400d17346e4031764d\" id=\"block-5da0123d-6b5d-4397-8b89-3f210f2d52b0\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">Discover classical music with the participation of musicians from a symphony orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5e24fbeb0db682b0964289120cab4279\" id=\"block-0ce489d4-307a-40a2-b3b1-89fb265c01a2\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">. Reaching out to bring people in: broadening the audience for B\u00e9b\u00e9 Concerts so that as many people as possible can discover symphonic music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-50f3fbe4af044d3d243fd4d5753709ac\" id=\"block-ff7f6b6d-c906-4812-8891-281a4cea5182\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">. Encourage children to pay attention to and listen to music, both during the interventions and during the indoor concerts offered by the Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2a29fab2cc3a40e75d57d138363e3ed9\" id=\"block-6111a15f-6742-453a-8405-d0d03a39e83f\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">. Offer sensory experiences by listening to musical performances and practising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0dc906f813360c6d8ac22651e1c8888a\" id=\"block-09b1daa7-64d2-4efc-84ec-d4cfc9a3b55c\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">. Singing practice: learning nursery rhymes for children aged 2-3 and over, accompanied by 1 or 2 musicians during the nursery sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-36e728e5-acd3-498f-a920-f6bfc1d8109b\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a277630d49c0e431d7fb656efc88da42\" id=\"block-4c523d05-c0bc-4aec-8e41-a85ae9d9be2c\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">. One of the aims of the residency is also to offer the children who will benefit from it the chance to attend two &#8220;B\u00e9b\u00e9 Concerts&#8221;, one organised especially for them during their time in the EAPE and another scheduled during our season by offering invitations to the children, their parents and the EAPE staff involved in the residency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-781c21e6-da57-4d6b-be6c-87bbaa29d49a\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-bb800db5da09420bdf5c47e5c570c055\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\"><strong><em>Involvement of the musicians <\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9476d79978cb856e5ab39a56d8bc2365\" id=\"block-a38c8f28-fc98-4210-920a-e0b6ebccd7da\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">As part of this residency in a cr\u00e8che, the orchestra&#8217;s musicians want to use their art as a means of expressing emotions or as a descriptive means of telling a story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-ffdf6ba6-5550-43b4-b054-3d18322f7f62\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-6d849dd1dd54d96cee5996018e45a0d5\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\"><strong>Baby Concerts <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-48845141d2a707699b2913c89e2cadcd\" id=\"block-d3e4468c-99ac-435c-87ce-05fada3b654f\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">Over the last few years, Orchestre Lamoureux has developed a range of activities aimed at young audiences, in particular the B\u00e9b\u00e9 Concerts (for 0-5 year olds), a creation that has met with great success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8ad9ef5c42797839c32aa12e59ea435f\" id=\"block-e331d6c9-0c48-4a96-aac0-bd23daeace37\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">With this formula, children under 5 are plunged into the world of classical music by attending a real concert, sometimes in their parents&#8217; arms. Not only do they listen, but they also move around in their seats, wandering around the auditorium and familiarising themselves with the atmosphere of a concert. What&#8217;s more, they hear music played by a real orchestra, punctuated by nursery rhymes so that everyone can sing along. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-18df46364dd97fff24553d3f9dea2845\" id=\"block-20bebd06-9777-4a58-9693-2f8238e753ba\" style=\"color:#3c7a95\">The B\u00e9b\u00e9 Concerts last around 30 minutes: a format suited to children&#8217;s ability to concentrate, with a set programme enhanced by explanations drawn up by a musician from the orchestra in collaboration with the conductor and musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details container has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-cb1033bbfd3f61c56ce490fe6455cb94 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\" style=\"color:#3c7a95;font-style:normal;font-weight:500\"><summary><strong>The Orchestre Lamoureux<\/strong><br><\/summary>\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">The Orchestre Lamoureux is a French symphonic ensemble founded in 1881 by the violinist and conductor Charles Lamoureux under the name of &#8220;Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Nouveaux Concerts&#8221; and recognised as a public utility in 1961. From the very first decades of its existence, the orchestra made a name for itself in the classical repertoire, notably with the premiere of the first act of Richard Wagner&#8217;s Tristan and Isolde at the Ch\u00e2teau d&#8217;Eau theatre in 1884. A fervent admirer of the music of the Bayreuth giant, Charles Lamoureux was also behind the premiere of the concert version of Lohengrin at the Eden-Th\u00e9\u00e2tre (now the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e Louis-Jouvet) in 1887. A series of thirty performances of the work in its stage version was then given at the Paris Op\u00e9ra in 1891, completing Wagner&#8217;s introduction to the Parisian public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"container\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">The Orchestre des Concerts Lamoureux has also left its mark on the history of French music: in 1900, it was commissioned to premiere Claude Debussy&#8217;s first three Nocturnes, followed by La Mer in 1904. On 11 January 1930, conducted by Maurice Ravel himself, the orchestra performed the first version of an emblematic work: Le Bol\u00e9ro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\"><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Orchestre Lamoureux wishes to share its skills and musical talent with early childhood establishments.
