Claudia KESPY-YAHI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2005, Claudia Kespy-Yahi created ” Cap Enfants<\/strong> “, and launched her own network of daycares<\/a> with a new distinct concept: music at the centre of children’s activities and development thanks to an innovative multi-sensory educational tool, La Bulle Musicale\u00ae\/the Musical Igloo\u00ae. More than a childcare centre with the fundamentals of collective care, each centre is a place for the development and blossoming of the child, using music and the five senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For nearly 23 years, her work has focused on young children, emphasizing the role of multi-sensoriality learning, music and a celebration of cultural diversity in children’s daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, she publishes her first book “Petite enfance : de la musique avant toute chose<\/strong> ! Des neurosciences aux cr\u00e8ches musicales<\/strong>” (ISBN\/EAN 9782100778409). Although not currently available in English the title translates: “Putting<\/strong> music first and the benefits to early childhood. From neurosciences to musical daycares<\/strong>“. The book offers a new vision of the positive impact of music on childhood development, drawing on a wealth of research published over the last twenty years. Claudia also shares examples from her own work and provides and illustrates with concrete examples of how to harness the power of music in children’s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in 2019, to raise awareness of the importance of a multi-sensory environment in early development of children, Claudia established the 5 senses for kids Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A musicologist and a musician, she worked for more than 10 years on the musical pedagogy developed by the company Cap Enfants. This pedagogy places hearing at the centre of the cognitive, affective and motor development of young children.
